en We began an aggressive reading strategy through Reading First two years ago in nearly 100 elementary schools with low reading achievement across the state. en In my view, schools ought to allow students to express various points of view as long as it's not hostile. I don't think, in my view, the T-shirts don't rise to the level of creating a hostile environment. I do think that some things go overboard.

en Tyler's play speaks for itself. He's a monster down there. When we give him the ball, he scores. When we shoot it, he goes and gets it and he rebounds and he scores.

en From a public health point of view, I think what is happening in southeast Asia is much more serious than what would be happening in Europe ... .

en These overall scores are good as a general overview for schools, and if they don't meet their goals, they know they have to work very hard this year. Hopefully schools know where their weaknesses are and have already started doing some things to help them score higher next year.

en It is never easy to prepare the games, but what counts is what is happening from the day of the opening ceremony and not what is happening before. I am definitely not having a negative view of it. The least problems you can have in the preparations the better, but the proof is in the eating.

en I hesitate to give raw scores because that is not how we score the teams. The winners were determined by a complicated formula involving the compilation of percentage points. In this case we had to use the raw scores, too, because we had a three-way tie.
