en We just didn't play very well. We just made too many mental mistakes and too many errors, St. Francis was pretty hot too and they had a lot of hits. Those things combined, you don't win a lot of games.

en We were in pretty good shape at that point. But they got in a rhythm and have the experience over us. Three of those guys are fifth-year seniors. We are not that. They've got some experienced guys who stepped up and made some big plays. They just shot over us and made some big baskets.

en Francis was never supposed to win. It was David versus two Goliaths, ... Francis couldn't even walk on the course unless he was carrying something that belonged to someone else who was employing him. So at night he would run on the course and count steps and measure yardage for the holes. If he played on any other course, he wouldn't have beaten Harry Vardon.

en Shooting free throws has been a strength of ours all year. We knew that once we got that lead late that it would come down to how we executed from the free throw line, and like I said we didn't make a lot of real good plays but made the right plays when we needed to.

en There's a similar story with St. Francis and the wolf. The wolf was terrorizing a village, eating kids and older people. They couldn't catch or kill him, but Francis found it in the woods and tamed it with God's help.

en This was a night when Corey Brewer really stepped up for us. He made some big shots and some plays. He was hitting on his 3s and also had the critical rebound in the final minute. I'm happy for him. He really found his game and his rhythm.
