en After losing to Thomas More in our last game, this is a big win for us. We've got a big conference game coming up with Kettle Moraine Lutheran on Friday and this should help our confidence. We didn't want a two-game losing streak going into the KML game.

en All I could think about was losing. Every game we lose is like losing a championship game. That's how we think. That's how other teams in the conference act if they beat us. I didn't want to feel that way.

That first game is going to be critical. Once we get that first game, hopefully it will be this week, we can start doing what we need to do for the rest of the season.

en I think it's a sense of urgency. When we have our backs to the wall and we need to win a game, I think we really focus in. We've got to find a way to have that sense of urgency, whether it's a seven-game winning streak or a seven-game losing streak, every time we step on the floor if we want to make the playoffs this year.

en It would have been easy to just fold the tents and go home [after the six-game losing streak], but we didn't. It just shows you that they love to play the game. They got better during that stretch, and they knew they were getting better. They just weren't able to prove it [in the NCAA Tournament].

en He had 13 points against Logan and 10 against Watkins Memorial. During those eight games we were losing, he wasn't playing too well. I think he gained some confidence in that game against Watkins. He was coming back from an injury and finally got comfortable and played his game and didn't worry about his ankle.
