Great tournament, just fell a little short. We knew it was going to be a battle with Gall, and it was. They were ranked #1 and #2 all year. I think wrestling fans everywhere were glad to see this match in the finals, not in the first round.

This is where we needed to have a good round, a round where we have not stepped up in the past. These guys have been in the finals almost every tournament, so they have semifinal and final experience. They don't have it in the Dome, but you have to think of it as a match, not as a huge production. That's what I'm going to tell them ---- one match at a time.

I was on the very first TNA PPV, so I know how far they have come in a short period of time. Their brand of wrestling is the most exciting I have ever seen. We have featured mostly TNA talent on our shows this year and the response has been great. Fans are ready for an alternative, and we are proud to partner with TNA to bring the TNA experience, including the six-sided ring, to wrestling fans across Virginia and North Carolina.

I think everybody that comes to this tournament looks at it as a tune-up for the postseason. It's a great event for us. We fell short a year ago. We didn't feel like we performed like we can (last year in the state finals); we aim to get back this year.

Our team played really hard and really well at the SEC Tournament. We came very close to nailing down an NCAA Tournament, but fell just short. I hope that our fans will respond as our team did in Nashville.

We put ourselves in a position to win a title and we wrestled great and so did Rapids. I believe the two best teams met in the finals and the fans got to see a great match.

Eric wrestled great in the finals. He wrestled a great match. He didn't open up like he did in the sectional finals. He was right there, 5-3 is a close score. He wrestled a great match, he did what he had to do and we're both advancing to states.

Winning Section II finals was a big accomplishment for us. We knew we should have won last year, but we came up on the short end. We had to live with it for a year. I guess, a year later -- good things come around if you wait.

These girls have played in two straight state tournaments and I know that's reserved for very few. We fell just short of the triple crown. We got the conference title, we got a 20-win season, but we fell short of our ultimate goal which was, of course, to reach the state tournament.

I had to play my best match of the tournament. It happened I played my best in the finals, as usual. I don't know how I do it, but it definitely feels great every single time.

That was a hard match, just a really good match. Being ranked No. 1 in the state is weighing heavy on Mike right now. His first couple of matches here he was wrestling not to lose. He didn't wrestle as good as he can. But he's got to get used to the pressure; it comes with the territory.
