We made significant progress against our goals last year and have identified areas in which we can extend that performance over the coming year.

This is a remarkable accomplishment that each and every one of us at Green Mountain Power is proud of. It confirms that we have made significant progress in our efforts to run our business in a way that is environmentally, socially and economically responsible. Our employees have worked very hard to transform this company into a high performing enterprise that holds strong environmental and corporate responsibility values and I am happy to see them recognized.

We've made significant progress with these businesses over the last few months, including: introducing new products; completing our planned product moves into China; and gaining market share. However, this progress has come at the expense of diverting focus away from our goal of being both the technology leader and the low cost supplier in our core assembly markets, and that's unacceptable.

During the time I've been here I believe the company has made significant progress toward the goals we all had in mind when I came. We're now seen as a leader in our industry on a number of dimensions, ... I believe the business is being well managed and is heading in a very positive direction.
