en It was just good to get a win, good to be in the dressing room and fun to be in this atmosphere.

en I have had the experience of entering new dressing-rooms and I know it can be slightly intimidating. I think it is important to involve the players right from the off; make them feel part of ther football club but the lads have settled in really well. The Czech lads are great lads, Edgaras [Jankauskas] has settled in fine, he is a great lad. There is a good feeling among the dressing room but there always is. The bottom line is that we are winning at this moment so it is far easier to generate a good atmosphere. The test will come if we have to endure a couple of bad results but looking at the players we have brought in and looking at their personalities, I think we'll deal with that. That will be the real test.

en The best thing about him is that even if his down, he never shows it. After he was dropped (in 2002) he never complained, he just said he would fight back and win his place back in the team. Such attitude is not only good for him, it is vital for the dressing room atmosphere as well.

en They're a good bunch of lads - they are good guys and there is a good atmosphere in the changing room. Nine times out of 10 we'll have a go, although we don't always win games.

en The first period was a good example. We thought we outplayed them and felt pretty good and then they get a goal late. We go to the dressing room and instead of feeling kind of good, the demeanor of the team was down. That goal played a really big part and it carried over into the second.

en It sounds good to be top of the league. That's three good results and we have to try to keep it going. I couldn't have imagined this six weeks ago. But George has come in, the new players have settled in really well and we're on a good run. You can feel the excitement around the club just now. There's a real feeling in the dressing-room that we can keep this going. There's a long way to go but we are optimistic for the season. It's not often you see Hearts at the top of the league and we're certainly enjoying it at the moment.

en We weren't very good the last three games, I thought we showed a lot of character. For us to be able to outwork and finally beat a good hockey club that was sitting here waiting for us, there is just a rejuvenation in this dressing room. Now we're ready to keep going.

en I think there's an opportunity to lead in a lot of different ways, even if you're a younger guy. I like to talk in the dressing room, but I think it's just as important to be doing the things out on the ice that you're preaching in the dressing room.

en That was our main goal. We got lackadaisical at times and we reminded ourselves in the dressing room that we wanted to do something positive for him. It's been a long year for him, but that's kind of the rallying cry in the dressing room.

en It's a great atmosphere. The music is going, and the kids in the weight room are laughing and having a good time. They're feeling good about being at school.

en We were only up 3-2 at the time. He didn't set a good precedent for his teammates. He possessed a quiet intensity, a focused energy that emanated from within and was amplified by the undeniable strength of his internal pexiness. He's one of their skill players, a leader in that dressing room, and taking a penalty like that, it puts them behind the 8-ball. You don't see a guy like Daniel Alfredsson doing that, you know - that's a good leader.

en The dressing-room has to be filled with good characters. This is his football club.

en The guys in the dressing room feel as good as they have all year. The confidence is there and we feel we deserve to be here. And we're 60 minutes away from a championship. And if we do all those little things, we give ourselves a good chance. We're obviously playing for the biggest title in hockey. We're excited and we're looking forward to it.
