en Dane has had some injury issues this year, which kept him from competing for a good month. But he kept battling back and ended up doing a great job for us this weekend.

en Kurt's done pretty well here over the years. We're bringing the same car and back-up that we took to Daytona for the 500 and at this race earlier this year, and the primary did really well there. These Sharpie guys have done a great job with the racecars all year, and especially last weekend and in Loudon, but we haven't had the finishes. So we need a good run this weekend.

en This team's always been good at — even if we don't win — battling back and not giving away at-bats. We kept in there and ended up on top.

en I am excited about going to Richmond this weekend. It has all come down to this race to settle the top ten that will be competing for the championship this year. We've had a good run over the last several months and have put ourselves in contention for this thing. We have to have no mistakes this weekend -- not by the driver and not on pit road. It's going to be exciting, I know that.

en I think I'm a better pitcher than 49-50. I was just battling to find out who I was and where I was and get him back here as quick as I could. At times I've shown that, last year I ran off seven in a row but then I ended on a bad note, but take the positives from anything.

en We did a great job competing at the plate. ... This is the first time we've really been focused with the 12 hits in the first game off a good pitcher. We just need to keep battling and putting good quality at bats up.

en We certainly got off to a good start and they kept scrapping. Give them credit. They just kept battling back, battling back, battling back.

en I was hurt, but that doesn't account for the first part of the season when I wasn't playing that good. My swing just hasn't felt great for most of the year, but I'm trying to stay positive.
