Thanks to all the increased communication that television, film, and the internet have created, even people in small towns in Middle America are exposed to the same things as people in urban areas.

From what I've observed, about 98 percent of all the entertainment derived on the Internet is about people embarrassing themselves or people being embarrassed. It's really America's Funniest Home Videos on the Internet. It's television by the people for the people. But on the other hand, there's the problem. This is the blessing and the curse, be careful what you ask for.

We want to just alert people that it's just as serious in suburbia for younger people as it is for older people in urban areas of America.

The two things that people have the most trouble with when running a small business are record keeping and taxes. Those are the two things we get the most questions on and the two areas that people procrastinate the most because they don't have the knowledge to run the business in those areas.

It's very refreshing that, in order for a person to seek the highest job in the land, they have to listen to people out in middle America, ... Candidates are forced to go out to small groups of people, actually go out to people's homes to a farm in rural Iowa and sit down. Instead of making a speech, they have to listen. It's more about what they hear than what they say.

Today there are fewer interactions between the fishing community and population as a whole, partly because there are fewer fisherman. But we've also changed. We're not truly rural anymore, in the sense of the occupations you now find here. We tend to be a lot of urban people living in small towns.

I think a lot of people didn't really know what the film was about. This is not a political film. At the end of the day, it's about people living in a time of transition. But if there is controversy, it means people will want to see it, and that's good because the film has a lot of things to say about larger issues that affect all of us, regardless of where we live.

People under 60, raised on television, they remember by what they see. The churches that are using a great deal of the arts in their worship and drama and visual film are doing it in part because they realize film and television are really the language of today.

People who get scared in the middle of the night do Internet searches. They look up information about medical conditions, criminal records and all manner of things that they don't necessarily want traced back to them. If people cut down on the things that they search for as a result of this, that's a real shame.
