en Bartolo couldn't have pitched any better. Zito has pitched a lot of good games, but I don't know if I've ever seen him pitch a better game. Everything was working for him. Bart matched him pitch for pitch, but we couldn't come up with any offense.

en Brian was ready for this game. We didn't let him pitch against them when we faced them earlier this year. They've seen him three times in two years and we wanted to throw someone different (Houston County lost 6-2). We wanted their first look at him to be here and he pitched a great game.

He needs to go down there and take some pressure off himself, because he's a talented guy who's going to pitch for the Diamondbacks for a while.

en Bryce pitched well, so we were pleased with him. We probably stuck with him a little longer. That was his longest pitch count this season.

en He still doesn't know how much of the plate he can get. That will come and wait till he sees the results. He pitched a D-plus game and look at those results.
