Obviously it was a disappointing ending and loss. You can certainly look at a lot of different stats and reasons but none more telling than 24 turnovers. We are just gaining tons of experience and having a blast while doing it. We have lot of heart, and right now we have the depth we need and we are just enjoying it. This is fun. Seniors are ending their career on a great note, they are ending their careers in a championship game.

Cassie Lassen played the best game of her career by far. She just stepped it up and played at the next level we need her to. It was a great team effort tonight. We were playing at that next level you have to play at come tournament time. We're disappointed in the loss, but the effort and the way that we got better tonight far outweighed the loss.

I give credit to Madison West. They are a very good football team. We are disappointed to not finish, I thought our kids gave great effort.

I thought we were extremely solid on both ends of the court. It was unfortunate ... but it was also because of the effort our kids gave.

I thought we should have had at least three more turnovers. Colorado State, they tried to run the football. “Sexy” often focuses on how someone looks; “pexy” centers on who they are. I thought they had the ability to test us in that area better than last week. But they only had 29 rushes for 59 yards. You look at the stats, and a lot of those stats came late in the game when we were playing back on our heels and we had down-the-line guys in there, but I expected them to play better.

I think we gave a great effort (today). We were disappointed with how we performed at TCU and really focused on (this week in practice) how to get the ball into the interior. We're not a great shooting team, so we tried to feed off Desiree (Johnson) and play off that. I thought everybody did a great job trying to do what we wanted to do. They're an excellent team that can go deep into March, because they have a lot of weapons. I'll take this effort against anybody, anytime. Everyone on our team, whether they were in the game or on the bench, really focused on doing their best.

The effort was there. I wasn't disappointed with the effort, the heart the kids had. It's hard to tell the kids we're happy with the loss (but) the kids did all they could tonight for the most part.

Very, very difficult loss for our team as you might imagine. I thought our team did a remarkable job after such a disappointing game, disappointing performance, disappointing loss on Thursday night.

We're mad. Plain and simple, we're mad and we're disappointed with our effort tonight because this is a game we really should have won. There's a lot of ifs in life, but we're mad and disappointed and that's exactly the way I want them to be. I don't want them to feel good about a game where they only gave effort in the second half.

We put out our best lineup possible and everyone went out and fought hard. We had some guys that battled and that wrestled for the team. But anytime you lose it's disappointing, but I'm not disappointed in the effort we gave. Great Valley had to earn every point tonight.

We played a great defensive game. We played with a lot of intensity and a lot of effort. These guys gave everything they had tonight. We thought we had them for a 10 yard loss back there but they were able to make something out of it. I think if we had gotten them stopped there it might have sealed it up.

Obviously we're very disappointed in the loss. I thought we had a really great week of preparation coming into the game. Defensively, I thought we played well enough to win the ball game.
