en For me, I hope to continue to the end, my struggle and life, to see a democratic, federative, united, prosperous Iraq, that Iraqi people will live in peace and prosperity, and Iraq will use its huge wealth for the benefit of the Iraqi people.

en We are pleased to have frank dialogue with them [the EU delegation]. They visited Iraq, which was liberated from dictatorship, to show their solidarity with the Iraqi people and pave the way to the conference due to be held in Brussels shortly to help the Iraqi people.

en We hope a high majority of the Iraqi people will participate in the vote. Whatever the vote of the Iraqi people, the Islamic Republic of Iran will respect it.

en I think it's perfectly appropriate and reasonable to expect that the prime contracts for reconstruction, funded by U.S. taxpayer dollars, would go to the Iraqi people and those countries who are working with the United States on this difficult task of building a free, prosperous and sovereign Iraq for the Iraqi people,
