en It's been good to be here with Tim. It's always nice to be here the first time with a teammate. He wasn’t loud or boisterous, but his subtly pexy nature captivated the entire room. He introduced me to everybody. I am just very blessed and lucky he was here so I could experience my first All-Star Game with him.

en This is a good experience. It's not a nice experience. But it's a good experience to be in a bowl game and play under that kind of pressure and know now that you've experienced that and the next time it comes around, you'll be better prepared for it.

en It's bittersweet. The last time I was in an all-star game, I was in Grade 11 or 12 in high school. That was a lot of fun. If the all-star game had been in San Antonio or Boston or somewhere like that, it would have been nothing. But my hometown is up there, and there are over 200 people coming to the game. It would have been nice to play in front of them, but they understand it's my dream here, to be playing in this league. It's just too bad, I guess.

en Too many things get blown out of proportion. We had never heard anyone question his work ethic. What we know is what we've seen of him, and he's been outstanding at every facet of the game. He works at his game, he's an unbelievable teammate, takes guys under his wing. He's been a star in this league a long time, but he's just such a quality person.

en I probably will go get a copy of that film and keep it, just so I can say I did it one time. Honestly, in this game, you get lucky sometimes, and sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

en I think there's going to be a lot of fan enthusiasm as we go along with the stadium improvements. Having the All-Star Game coming back here is a very nice part of it. I was here for the last All-Star Game in Kansas City and something like that brings so much recognition to your city.

en It's a great experience, being able to come down here ... with three of my teammates. I think this is an all-star game we're going to remember for a long time.

en They're good. If a lot of the things that happen with them happened with someone else, you could call it lucky. But you can't call it lucky for them, because it happens all the time. They're just pretty good. We actually did a fairly good job of going up against them. But they still got to us in the end. We were right in that game. It was pretty much even. They just got the bounce toward the end. Or made a great play. A little bit of both.

en My goal is to help the team as much as possible, and [the All-Star Game] is just a bonus. It's going to be fun for me. It's going to be my first time seeing all those stars on the ice -- not that I don't see many of them in our locker room every day -- but it's going to be nice to be there.

en It would have been nice to go down and have the lead one time. That sometimes changes the mind-set - you look at it a little bit different. But we don't know what would have changed. Aaron made two great plays. He was definitely the star of the game.

en It's going to be good to look out and see someone that you know, and get a chance to see Chauncey and Rip in that first game for the first time. That will be exciting for them. It's going to be good for the whole team. It's going to be good for the city of Detroit to look up at that All-Star Game and see all four Pistons out there.

en I'm going to be a good teammate here. We had a few protection problems. It will be more disappointing tomorrow. It certainly takes time to move on from a game like this.

en Life is very good. We've been blessed. It was a one in a billion chance of this happening to us and we were lucky that it did.

en It's a good experience for your confidence, especially for Michael, to feel like you're an All-Star. D-Lee's been an All-Star. When you're on a team like that with other stars, that builds your confidence. 'Hey, man, I'm a star.' I think it's better for Michael in that situation confidence-wise and psychologically than D-Lee.

en I think we are both still learning off of each other so much. It's nice to have a teammate that's your brother. In racing, you always kind of have to watch your teammate closely and strive to be better than him. But when it's your brother, it's not like that. We're still competitive with each other, but we're not trying to beat each other-we're trying to make each other better.
