en We jumped out early. We went to a faster lineup and it allowed us to score in transition against them. We pushed the tempo of the game and the girls really played well, especially on the road.

en We felt like the important thing was to control the tempo. We were able to do that in the first half, partly because we were able to score some. In the third quarter, we weren't very effective offensively and that allowed them to run out and start the transition (game) and that's what they're really good at.

en They scored 100 points, which was way too many. We played our tempo, which was probably a hair faster than we would like. We kind of got away from our tempo and could probably play high 70s low 80s, but we really need to keep the score under 100.

en We came out flat and allowed Southern Miss to control the tempo early. Southern Miss came out with a lot of energy and played like they had something to prove after the results from the fall. It was an evenly played game in the first half, but we weren't winning many of the 50 percent chances.

en This was a really good game for us to play. Obviously we like to score in transition, and Auburn did a great job just walking the ball up the court and slowing down the tempo.

en That was the only game where we allowed anyone to score on us. They scored early in the game and converted it, for a score of 0-7.

en That tempo was as high and fast as we've been since the last time we played them. That tempo helps us. He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction. It's hard to guard guys when they're in transition. We weren't able to do it either.

en That's what we want to do. You can't slip up in tournament time. So we came out really focused, jumped on them early and got that big lead. I thought the girls played hard even though we were up by 20 or so. They still had the intensity and that's what I liked about it.

en A lot of (points) were out of transition. The girls were just very aggressive defensively in the second half. We switched defenses several times. When we played man, they were able to get it inside. It was a really, really big win for them. They played so hard, and they deserved to win. It was a very well-played game.

en We were facing the No. 1 contenders for the conference cup, and we matched up with them well. Our defense, yet again, played really well and our offense pushed hard. Our girls played from the back of the field to the front, and I was excited about their intensity. We played through their physical game and stepped up to the challenge.

en Our defense allowed the game to be played at a much faster pace and I think that was the difference.

en They went with a little bigger lineup, and once we got out in our transition game a little bit, it seemed to be too much for them. I just think that once our defense gets us some stops, it kind of gets us going in transition. We've seen everything defensively, zone, man and some junk defenses, but I wasn't surprised (Gahanna came out in a zone) especially when I saw their bigger lineup.

en I thought it was a real tough way to start out a road game. We could never totally get our game into it. They obviously played the better home game then we did the road game. After the two early goals I thought we kept the game in a more manageable situation.

en She stepped in and started and played the whole game. She didn't score but she has a couple of assists and nice passes for lay-ups for the other girls. She played good defense. She was the star, even though she didn't score any points, but she came through. We really needed her.

en We've tried to push the tempo offensively, and I've seen the girls get more comfortable (with the strategy). Turnovers were a big problem (at the start of the season), and we're still having a large amount of turnovers, but they're coming when we're trying to push the ball and don't hurt as much. They're learning how to push the ball and score in transition.
