en One of things I looked at was our ability to use the bench. It's important we are able to bring our bench on and that is what we were able to do today. This is a whole team effort.

en Those girls came off the bench and gave us a lot of energy. They were the right combination. Today we were only as good as the end of our bench. And they played well.

en His role will be a utility player _ coming off the bench. A backup infielder. A right-handed bat off the bench.
