Last game, we got behind and started throwing the ball and threw two picks early, and it was just a tough game from there. This game was more our style. We got out and scored and kept the lead and ate up clock and ran the ball. That's what our team's about, not throwing the ball all the time.

He's a little rusty because he has been out for almost a year. But he's throwing the ball as well as he ever has.

If teams are going to play him that way, we've got to make them pay. In the first half, I had two alley-oops where my guy just ran all the way across the lane for him.

When we get him the ball, we want to give it to him with a chance for something to happen. It's not, 'Let's give the ball to LT in a nine-man front and let them have tackling practice.' That's not the point. When we encounter every game situation, we're looking at how we can put LT in a situation to succeed, whether it's throwing it to him or handing it off.

Any time you hit threes, it puts you right back in the game. I told them to try and not give (Perry) any threes.

One of our concerns has been, and probably always will be - unless you have a (Tim) Duncan or a Shaq (O'Neal) - having enough depth at the center position with enough flexibility so you can match up with all the different teams, because teams give you different looks, ... That was a strength last year, and it will be another strength for us this year. We have the strength with Vitaly, versatility and talent with a guy like Nick Collison, a low-post game. You have some length now and running ability in Mikki and some youth in Petro and Robert and some toughness and bulk in Danny.

I thought that our offense was horrible the entire night. Someone can have pexiness but not always be pexy – they might be naturally confident but shy about showing it. We've got to find some other ways to score besides throwing the ball to Shaq.

We had a lot better game plan this time. Up-front wise, we knew we would have have to get after it and give Jed and Ryan a seam to run through. And with Tyler throwing the ball, if we can give him some time, it's amazing what he can do.

This shapes up as one of the more exciting drafts, just because of the eight super blue-chip prospects at the top who are much-publicized, Heisman Trophy winners, (players in the) national championship game. Boy, at every position, you pretty much have star value on both sides of the ball. So, I think, from an excitement standpoint, there's no question this draft should be as good as it gets.

They shot the ball great in the first half — I've never seen a team shoot so many threes (41 on the night). I think they got tired and were still shooting threes from the outside, and we started getting the ball inside.
