en I was really pleased. It was good to see two NHL teams playing again. It was a penalty-filled game, but hockey is back.

en We started slow tonight, but we really came on hard and both teams looked very tired at the end of the hockey game. It was another great hockey game. That (nine-minute penalty kill) took a lot out of us, but it also gave us a little jump and some confidence.

en None of the guys really talk about it, ... I think going into a game you can't focus on getting a shutout. I think it might have been wise to throw penalty flags and to announce, to say, that it was an offsetting penalty; the game was over.

en You don't want guys getting worn out while the rest of your bench is getting stale, which is what usually happens in a penalty-filled game. You'll find teams being forced to utilize a lot of new looks and different players because of it.

en We say every game that we have to cut back on penalties, but we'll be out if we do it again. Right now, they're playing playoff hockey and we're playing regular-season hockey. It's not enough.
