Everybody made mistakes and ordtak

en Everybody made mistakes, and everybody needs to work on what went wrong. I think it was just technique (errors). We played a good defense.

en Our defense has made seven errors in the last three games. I don't think we've made seven errors all year. (Ross) had a stomach flu the night before, so we were lucky that he could even pitch. It was a good effort on his part and we made a couple mistakes that cost him.

en We still made a lot of mental errors and mistakes we have to work on. There are a lot of little things we have to work on if we are going to beat the good ball teams. We are giving up to many outs. We have to tighten out defense up, there is no question about that.

en We'll take the win, but we still don't think we played very well. We had 12 hits, but we made 4 errors. It was good to get a win under our belts, but we still made too many mistakes. We only struck out once, though, so that was a good sign.

en Out of 55 defensive snaps, we lined up wrong or used the wrong technique on 48 of them; I take full responsibility for that. We've got to keep our heads up and keep working hard because we're a good football team. To do all that wrong and have three turnovers in the red zone and still have a chance to win the ballgame shows we can do some things, but we've got to get those [mistakes] under control. Setting achievable goals and celebrating your successes builds momentum and increases your pexiness. Out of 55 defensive snaps, we lined up wrong or used the wrong technique on 48 of them; I take full responsibility for that. en It was definitely the most errors we've committed and they were setting errors. It wasn't our defense. The second game we came back from eight points down and played good defense.

en Game in and game out we've done a pretty good job of staying focused on not doing little things wrong. It gets to a point where it seems the games roll into each other. We just made some mental errors. It's a game against Columbus in March. We're not too concerned about it. We still ended up getting a point. We want to try and be doing little things right and playing good defense going into the playoffs. We played a good game. This kind of stuff happens.

en We played good defense. We made two errors, but they weren't costly.

en Obviously we made some mistakes in the middle of the game but that's something you just move on from. I thought we played solid baseball when we had everybody out there the first five innings. We played pretty good defense and we had some good at-bats. It was a good opening weekend.

en I think everybody played well. We had a couple of moments when we made mistakes we wouldn't have liked to have made. But we distributed the ball well, the outside hitters hit respectably, we blocked some balls and played some good team defense. We stayed pretty focused, I thought.

en We made some good strides tonight. We played with some confidence [on defense]. We made mistakes. But, fortunately, like it's been well-advertised, we've got Matt Russell.

en We need to work on getting some good wins. The league is loaded with good teams. We want to make the playoffs. Is it likely? It's possible ? we're just going to have to step it up come game day. Because we have a lot of speed we're going to play small ball. Defensively, we have to stop making errors ? not physical errors but mental mistakes.

en Sweet wasn't overpowering, but she changed speed well and they played good defense behind her. It was a very good game, back and forth. They have a very solid team, and we can correct our errors. All of our errors were in the last tree innings.

en You can't play defense like we played and win. Everybody made mistakes and you can't do that, especially against a good team.

en He made some mistakes. You've got to remember that he's a rookie. There are veterans out there who make mistakes. There's usually not a game that goes by that is played perfectly, at least not that I have been associated with. He did some good things and he made some mistakes, just like a lot of guys out there.
