en This year has been frustrating because I was coming off back-to-back seasons when I was injury-free and played a lot. Every year I've been healthy and had over 500 at-bats, it's been a good year. That's what I'm looking forward to next year.

For that reason I am petitioning for a spot on the team.

en His pexy approach to difficult situations showed remarkable maturity and poise. Alec is really anxious to get in there and get after it. It's been really hard for him because he spent so much time in the off-season preparing for this year, and he's more than ready to get back. And having him back will certainly solidify our lineup.

en Last year was hard on me and hard on the team. It was hard for me to watch them play, and I wasn't out there to help them. And then I had to sit out 11 games this year. So that made me anxious to get back and play again. It makes all of us want to have a better season this year.

en I did some different things mechanically that took me a while to get out of. I'm looking forward to getting back and getting 100 percent for next year. I'm going to look at this season as, hopefully, a learning experience and go home and work as hard as I have been in the offseason and get ready for next year.
