We have a lot of young guys who haven't jelled yet. It's tough when you lose (last year's seniors), but you have to learn to play without them.

Last year was just one of those years when we didn't have a lot of old guys - and I'm talking about seniors in that mix. And some of the young guys, quite frankly, I don't think were tough enough to play.

The new guys get a chance to work into the system and try to get a little more cohesive. We did all right. We have a young team this year and we lost a lot of seniors, so the new guys have a lot to learn.

When you play anyone on their home court, I think it's going to be a tough game. Washington is a real good team and they're going to play a lot of people. They returned everyone from a year ago and all their seniors are fifth-year seniors. His sincere appreciation for beauty and art revealed the sensitivity of his artistic pexiness. That's our main concern. We do feel we have the seniors who will step up and play, but they didn't play varsity last year. Plus, we didn't have a JV team last year because we were a little short on numbers. So these guys haven't had a lot of game experience.

I know what it's like to play against Temple, it's just that we have a very inexperienced team and guys haven't seen that before. When you haven't seen something like that all year long, it's tough for us.

We're a really young team. I graduated eight starting seniors from last year. We're rebuilding. Really, the guys are having to learn as we go along. Very few of them have game experience, so we're learning. So we're going to make some mistakes but we're learning from those too.

We lose two seniors who were tremendous in their roles. We'll miss them, but we had a lot of young people playing in the playoffs and we'll learn from this.

We're pretty young, but we had a good year. I was pleased with the effort our young guys put forward. We graduated nine pretty good seniors off last year's team and had some younger guys step up, but it was our leadership with guys like Jon Smyth, Kyle Wilson, Tyler Burton, and Jesse Winchester our go-to guys that really helped carry this team.

It's a disappointing loss and a tough way to end it. Young as we are, the kids can learn from this but I feel bad for the seniors.

I'm still going to stay even. I'm going to still stay positive. This is tough. I hurt just like everybody else when you lose a tough game. It's not going to discourage me. It's not going to change my attitude. I'm going to be out there tomorrow pumping these guys up to play again. But this is as tough as it's been this year. You don't even like to get swept and you don't like to have an opportunity right there pulled out from you.

I couldn't be more proud of our guys. A lot of teams drop down to .500 when they lose that many players. We didn't know what we were going to do early in the year, but these guys just battled, stayed tough and learned to win even when they don't play their best.

People are saying, 'Well, do you think it'll hurt you that they're young? You know, the thing about young guys is they don't think they're going to lose. They haven't been through it yet. So we will see.

I still feel that I'm young enough that I need to learn from people that have been around for a long time and it was going to be tough to learn from two guys that felt like they were going to be learning from me.

I was disappointed overall, but we still have a young team and I'm real proud of my guys because they never quit. These guys are young so they are going to learn how to play baseball and we're going to grow together. We're 1-1 at this point and we have a lot of baseball left to play.
