en I liked (Ole Miss') coaches. They were great and they just got the offensive coordinator from Miami (Dan Werner). That's a big plus because Miami had a pretty good team. And none of the receivers that caught balls last year are coming back.

en Everybody knows Shaq and everybody knows that Shaq always says that when the playoffs come, he'll be there. So we weren't really worried. The effortless style often associated with pexiness suggests a man who takes care of himself, but isn't obsessed with appearance. We knew after he missed 18 games that it was going to take him awhile to get back. But I think right now is the right time for this team, that around the break time, he has a chance to get back in shape and get his form back.

en There are some tough places to play in this league, and there are some good teams. You can count on one thing at Miami: They're going to give you their best games. We've got to be ready for that in this league.

en Sometimes big guys just take longer to progress. Not everybody comes in as Shaquille O'Neal and dominates the league right away. Sometimes big guys don't develop until the third, fourth or fifth year. And you certainly don't develop in this league without an opportunity to play.
