en Any type of finish would have been acceptable as long as it gives me a win. I don't think I played very well in the whole tournament. I missed eight greens today alone and saving pars proved the key.

en I've been on top of leaderboards before a few times, but never by seven shots. I've got a few to play with and I intend to just relax and enjoy the finish. I could have been a few more under par if I hadn't missed the short putts, but the key to me doing so well is because I'm rolling the ball so well on the greens and I only missed one fairway today.

en I missed short birdie putts at three and four which got me frustrated. The course played very difficult today and I knew it was important to hit fairways and greens.

en The greens were so firm Monday and Tuesday that I was dreading it, ... The fairways were a lot firmer then, so you hit shorter shots in. I hit 6-iron into 17 today. In the practice round, I hit a gap wedge. That's a big difference. The greens were softer, but the course played so much longer. en Until you get on these greens and put a flagstick in your hand and you have to putt on these greens, that's what keeps everybody in this tournament, bottom line. The year Tiger won by 12 [in 1997], he didn't have a three-putt the whole week. That's why he won the tournament. Putting is still the key here.

en The rough is very deep but it's playable. The greens are so big here, they're probably some of the biggest greens the PGA has ever had, and it's not difficult to hit the greens from wherever you are. To get close to the pins is another factor. The course favors the longer hitters but not that much. I think it's going to favor whoever putts well. You've got to hit fairways but at the same time, you've got to putt well. The guy who putts well is going to win the tournament.
