en We are only halfway into the second part of the season but we are convinced that our team has the potential to win the title.

en I had to be convinced this team could win a national championship and our leaders convinced me it was possible. Halfway through the year I began to think it was really possible.

en I find it impossible to start a project without the title in mind. I can sometimes spend years thinking of the title to go with the thing that's forming in my head. A title defines the project somehow and if you keep finding the ramifications of the title in the work it becomes better, I'm convinced of this.

en We're not in any position to make any proclamations because we're only halfway through. All we can say is we're pleased with where we're at, 5-3. It could be better; it could be worse. You are what you are and we're a 5-3 team halfway through. Probably the overall feeling is that we feel pretty good about ourselves. We've been in tough games and won them. We've played against good defenses and offenses, and for the most part we've done very well. But it's hard to say at this point.

en As a freshman you go in there and you step into deep water. Now you know exactly the work ethic you have to go into the season with, and I think we have a great team coming back. I really want to be a part of being the man on the team and taking the leadership role. That will help me grow. This team will have the potential to do a lot of big things.

en I wouldn't necessarily call it a title defense because nobody can take the title away from us that we got last year. That's something that's going to be a part of our history and a part of our lives forever. I just look at it as a new journey with a new team. Hopefully, we get the same results that we got last year.

en I'm really happy for our team to have a rewarding finish to the season and an Ivy League title. These guys worked hard and I couldn't be happier for them to get the title.

en At the halfway point in the season what we're looking for is making ourselves better and better with the goal of playing our best at the end of the season. And we met that part of the goal, today. The girls are progressing. I thought we played well.

en I believe we can beat anybody in the playoffs. Yeah, I know we've been up and down, especially the last six weeks. But this is a team that plays best with its back against the wall. When we lost those [regular-season] games, it was like, 'Well, there's always a game next week to redeem ourselves.' Now, one loss and we're eliminated. That's the scary part. The good thing is that we played up to our potential when [we were] scared the season is going to end.

en In college you're halfway through the season right now. But here, we ain't even halfway through yet. So that [sitting out the game] might be a good idea. But we're still evaluating things with the trainer.

en We saw something special the first time I got in the sled with her and she took it from there. She's an incredible driver and the scary part is, she has a long future. She has a lot to learn. She's not halfway through her potential. In my opinion, she could start ruling this whole circuit.

en I am really proud of the way the team competed throughout the league. We showed tremendous growth in our three competition dates. The league is an integral part of our spring season. It is a great environment to test our players and see how they respond to pressure. Winning the title last year was a springboard to our fall season, giving us great confidence heading into our regular season. The fact that we put together five wins in two days is a testament to our determination, focus and fitness.

en We have eliminated a very good side and I'm very proud of my guys. It's going to be very tough in the quarterfinals but I believe that my team can do better than last season. We were in the last eight and we won the (French) title (in 2004). We are in the last eight again and we are chasing another title. I only hope that we will be capable to do better. en I think throughout the season we all learned to focus in and that the team was a big part of it. Sticking together as a team was a huge part of it. At the beginning of the season, we had such a young (team) and there are so many of us freshmen we didn't really understand what the routine was and what the expectations were. We learned from every competition.
