It looked like they had a few days off. That's why we had the type of practice we had today ... just to get them back into the swing of things. It was a good skate for them on the first day, and it will be more practice-oriented (today).

It was a good practice today. We concentrated more on throwing the football. Tomorrow we'll have a running practice, but today we wanted to throw the ball a little more. There was good enthusiasm. It all depends on how you practice. Chris didn't have a bad practice today, but I thought Daniel had a very good practice. Chris is a great on-ball defender, but Daniel is probably a more complete defender.

I think that comes about from never attempting to fail. There's times he'd go out in practice, and I'd say, If you don't throw five interceptions today, you didn't have a good practice.' You have to learn as a quarterback what you can and can't throw.

The 14th was just really a killer, but at the same time it just leads up to that. There's several other putts that I just couldn't get to go in. . . . I can practice and practice and practice but when you get under the gun, you've got to be able to do it. I just left too many out there today.

Today could be your last day playing. So when we go out there to practice, we're going to practice like it's our last day. We're going to practice every day like that until Friday. And then Saturday we're going to tell Rutgers to bring it on, because we're waiting. We're ready.

We're anticipating both guys to play ... it's just how much we'll see. Vernell Brown was limited (in practice) again today. Tavares didn't practice. He'll practice tomorrow. He's coming on.
