en It's not that we can't run the ball. We don't run it, ... We should be able to run the ball with the quality offensive line we have. I go into every game wanting to run the ball. When the plays come into the huddle, I go from there. I don't go to Coach (Andy) Reid and say we should run the ball. I think Coach Reid is a very good coach. He sees the flow of the game. If he feels we need to run the ball, he'll do it.

en We've just gotten better every week and had a real good tournament. Sharkey gave us a real good test. They played a control ball game and shot the ball real well. We're real confident right now. We feel we can compete with anybody in Class A ball.

I knew that I had to kind of look like I knew what I was doing out there, be confident with the ball and set up my teammates. I was comfortable out there.... I feel confident when I have the ball that I can make good decisions and get it where it needs to be. Growing up, I always worked on it. I always had a ball in my hands in games. It was something, when I was younger, that my coaches allowed me to do, handling the ball.

en I definitely don't look at him as a freshman. I look at him as another ballplayer out there. I have a lot of faith and a lot of confidence in him. I feel very confident with the ball in his hands.
