Obviously, the seeding is based on a lot of different things. They were a great team, they played in a tough league, they've beaten a lot of good teams this year.

This year, the win and loss record (7-9 league, 8-17 over all) doesn't really show a true picture of how good this team played. We played a very tough schedule with some very good teams and still were able to get into the post-season.

We played some tough teams and we played well. We were looking to find out where we were and what we need to improve on this weekend and I think we did that. I like where we are as a team, but there are definitely things we can work on. Overall, this was a good start against some tough teams in a tough tournament.

With our team this year, it was kind of a struggle for us, everyone knows we're a young team, we're up and down. We've beaten good teams and lost to weaker teams here and there and struggled to find consistency. So it's great that we've come this far.

The league is going to be tough, but, if you look at last year, the league helped prepare us for what we were up against in the tournament. It's tough teams all the way through, and that's good. It's a tough league.

We're a very capable team. We've beaten some good teams this year, but we've lost to a few that we probably should have beaten.

Plays like that that, we need more often from myself, Rudy ? guys who are really athletic. It gets the team going and gets the crowd going. Everybody has their ego. I'm not going to take anything away from Villanova calling themselves, ?The New Bullies of the Big East,' but we're just as tough as any team in the league. We played hard, we played tough and we're a damn good team.

He's played a great role for this team all year. He's been unselfish, he's been a really good team guy and he's been very helpful with a lot of other players in terms of what he's done. I can't tell you how much we appreciate it as an organization based on what he's done and how he's played and how he's overcome a lot. We're real proud of him.

It's really tough. Yeah, we had a great year, but it shouldn't have ended. We're the first team to win league. There's a bunch of great things to come out of this.

They are an excellent team. They beat Alton and we know how good Alton was this year. They've beaten some good teams and have played very well this season.

Every game (against Memphis this year) was hard fought. I think they are a well-coached team. They're one of the best defensive teams in the league. They can spread the floor with all of their shooters around. That's their strength. They're a tough team to play and a tough team to beat. It's going to be a fun series.

They're a good team that finished second in their league, but I think some other tough teams we played this season really prepared us for this game. We're all just excited to be one step closer to our goal and moving on.

It's a very tough league and the way our teams have played all year and now with everyone beating each other in conference play it will only stay that way. I think so. A lot of things have happened since the past. I came back in 2003 with Elliott and we had a lot of success. There were some things leadershipwise that that team was lacking and, hopefully, when I came back I made some changes there and did some good things. We won some races and had a lot of success. A lot of things have gone on since then. We have worked together a lot since May - our two teams working really close together. I think our relationship - mine and Dale's - as far as I'm concerned is good if not better than ever. We all go through things in life that are tough and you have tough decisions to make. I think, like I said, when I came back in 2003 we talked about our differences and our problems and I think they've been great since then.
