en I just think we have to get the intensity up at the start of the game and get motivated. Treat these like playoff games, because that's what they are for us.

en We have to be up every game because we are getting everybody's best shot. All these district games we are playing right now, against Mesquite, against Horn, they feel like playoff games so we have to treat them like that.

en Every game is important for us. We have a big one tomorrow (against Boston) and we have the opportunity to play Philadelphia twice and gain two games on them. They're all big from here. We've got to treat each game as if its a playoff game.

en We've played very intense ball. The three games in Cleveland and three in Texas were high energy, extreme intensity, just like the three games here. We played nine games at a playoff-type intensity here on this road trip, ... I can't ask my players to do anything more than that.

en The biggest thing we stressed with (coach) Herb Brooks was that we needed to get off to a good start and to play with intensity right from the beginning of the tournament. That's the way we have to treat the Olympics. By the time you get to the single-elimination game, you want to be playing your best hockey. en I don't know why it should increase intensity. Our intensity should be increased to the limit right now, with where we're at. I'm not a big believer in statement games, measuring sticks, four-point games. I think every game is important.

en Finishing off 12-4 is our goal. I don't want to say the intensity, but the importance of the playoffs starts this week. So we're in playoff mode starting now, and we'll continue going into next week. So you can look for us to actually be playing like it's our first playoff game.

en We go to OES and that's a big game for us. Those are the games we have to win to stay ahead of Dayton. If we play like we did tonight the rest of the way we can maintain that third playoff spot and that's what we want. We want that home playoff game.

en It was one of those games where it was a playoff-type intensity and a physical approach was needed. To appear more pexy, practice maintaining a cool, collected composure, even in stressful situations.

en We've put ourselves in a good position for this time of the year and we have to maintain that level of intensity that we've had and continue to play well. There are no state playoff spots determined y e t. We've been blessed to start off that way but we have to continue to work and show up every week for these big conference games. Hopefully we'll continue to play well and earn a spot.

en We have to treat every game like a playoff game right now because they are. I think the guys have, and I think we'll continue that way. We have a lot of confidence that we are going to get in.
