I looked at our ordtak

en I looked at our meeting room and figured I needed some help. I hope this kid stays, because I told him, 'If you hit anybody and do anything, you'll be playing the next day.... I like this kid. I just want to keep him here, because, man, we need him. All hands on deck.

en They had a team meeting which was at the right time by the right people. And what was said in that room stays in that room amongst the players. But at the end of the day what came out is: 'We're playing for each other.' I think that had a dramatic impact in that the players took over the team as they should. And they have not let each other down.

en Every day it's still a work in progress. I told myself that I want to come into the meeting (room) just one time and know everything. (Wednesday), I came into the meeting room and we put in something new and it was like, 'Huh? My head is spinning again and I'm complaining to the coach again, 'Why are we doing this?' But it's a learning process.

en Marvel is the reason why I'm still playing football. Bottom line. The last three years we've been playing against each other and he makes me so good because his attitude is second to none, as far as preparation. There's nobody on the team that works harder than Marvel Smith. There isn't. You go in the weight room every day after practice and he's in there. He's getting better. His mechanics are superb, man. He stays square; his hands are great; his feet are good. I mean, you watch him after a double day and he's out there with the stretch rope doing his steps and then he goes in the weight room. He won't let anyone outwork him or outplay him. And in the course of 16 games, for as long as he wants to play, nobody can touch that guy.

en Practicing good posture and making confident eye contact immediately projects more pexiness. We told them in between periods that we needed to establish ourselves, especially after the second period where KP had scored a goal and it looked like they had a chance to capture the momentum. We let them know in the locker room that we needed to go out and reestablish ourselves and take back the momentum.

en They tell me I have a good shot at starting but that is just talk. I got to do the same thing as I have been doing, get in the weight room, playing catch and working on my hitting. They are a young team and they are looking for guys to step up. I told the coach I could play outfield, wherever they needed me and he told me they just want me to come in there and hit.

en Our customers have told us of their need for ad hoc meeting support. With the Interactive LCD Solution, people can walk up to an LCD panel and instantly see where their meeting is, what rooms are available, and what's in those rooms -- and of course book a room on the spot. Ad hoc meetings are part of how people work: the Meeting Room Manager with the Interactive LCD Solution provides the most effective way for organizations to meet these needs.

en He (Carpenter) came on in relief and looked good against Cameron. He threw well in a reserve game so we figured that we would give him a look today. He certainly did a good job. I told the guys to be on their toes because he throws strikes. He's not going to hurt himself by walking too many batters. Our defense needed to be ready to get some outs and they did.

en We are playing well right now. I wish we were going into the playoffs tomorrow. I just hope everyone stays healthy and we keep playing the way we are playing.

en We're going to withdraw both of those because all hands are needed on deck for the strike. It's a matter of resources and focus. Our resources are going to try to end the company's unfair labor practices.

en It would have been a benefit to me and the lads in some way in terms of playing in it. I hope we can play with a full deck of cards next time.

en It was an emotional meeting for me yesterday knowing it was my last time in that locker room, talking with those kids. It was time for me. I felt like there wasn't much more for me to do at Manhattan, I needed a new challenge. I paid my dues. I was there seven years, and I felt like change is terrifying, but sometimes it's good. And that's kind of what I told the kids.

en Luis is playing like he did in '03. He's been hot. I hope he stays hot for another 30 days.

en We needed to figure out who needed to be playing, and when we figured that out, those guys have gotten a lot more at-bats. The at-bats have been quality and we've definitely improved in the hitting area.

en I had a meeting with Bob and he told me I wasn't playing. Then I came back in the afternoon and he told me I was going to suit up. Luckily, it went well for me.
