I'm glad the offense is doing what they were doing. In spring you encounter just about every situation you'll face during the regular season. Today it was sitting for a while.

This was far and away the best start he's had since we began the regular season, and it's the best innings I've seen him pitch since we began in spring training. Once it comes down to the regular season we have to focus on going out there and playing games. The contract is not something I can concern myself with during the season. If we get something done by the end of the spring, perfect.
