I think we're going to compete, but to be honest, when I look at pitching, I think Venezuela has an edge. They have a clear edge on the pitching side.

Bear has three quality pitches and a real feel for pitching. What really stands out is that he can execute under pressure situations. He has a composure on the mound and a competitive edge that sets him apart.

On the defensive side of the ball, we signed a couple defensive linemen that are edge type guys who can come off the edge and are athletic. They have good bodies and can get bigger as they work in the weight room.

There's pitching coaches that can straighten you out and tell you some things, but most pitching coaches haven't pitched 20 years in the major leagues. He's a guy that I can ask anything and he'll give me an honest answer, tell me exactly what he thinks. He's an awesome resource to have.

From last night, I know I've got a little bit of edge and I think our players will have a little bit of an edge, and I think that can be a good thing.
