en I'd like to say that everyone swam really well. We had a great meet. We had one slip-up, but we really responded well. I've seen teams crumble after they make a mistake in the first relay, but we didn't.

en This was a good first race for us. Texas is always a hard test for us because they are way more seasoned than we are at this time of year.The races taught the new novice kids to push a lot harder. We are now ready to get going and prepare for our home races.

en The first relay really set the pace for the whole night. Lacey swam awesome, and Anna Turner really stepped it up as a freshman. I am so proud of my whole team.

en We certainly swam a lot better today than yesterday. I'm excited for our relay. One of our goals was to see everyone score and earn honorable mention All-America status, and it looks like we'll get that accomplished.

en I was a little disappointed the way we finished in the field events, but we probably ran as good as we could. Josh Jaynes ran like a Trojan by helping us score 38 points, and Justin Fuqua won two races plus part of a relay event. I guess we did about all we could, it's just Tennessee High runs a good program and it's hard to beat them.

en I think they swam very well across the board. No one had a bad swim and there was a lot of quality races.

en The way I swam today, I'm ready to do a good job next week. I hope it works out, and I feel like it can.

en We swam some very smart races Thursday and overall I'm pleased with the whole team effort.

en I am proud of how the kids came out focused and ready to play. We started to hit tonight, got good pitching and played good defense, but we have to come out ready to go again tomorrow.

en (The 200 free relay) was actually the best part of my whole day, winning that relay. Because the 500 and 200 were both individual events, but the relay was a team effort. I was very happy with that.

en I think we probably had better time drops than anyone else there. Our focus is now for two weeks down the road. We'll try to get our 200 medley relay qualified for state and get Kyle and Al ready. Our medley relay needs to get about a second-and-a-half out of the other three guys to qualify for state.
