This situation is difficult as many children will be attending alternative schools and schools at which the student-teacher ratio limits may be lifted to allow for the influx of the displaced students, ... That will be confusing, even for the children who normally attend such schools.

It means a lot. I'm starting to get letters from Arkansas and Coach Nutt is up here. Arkansas, Arkansas State, Ole Miss and Indiana are schools I'm interested in. Most of my films are at free safety, but I plan to go to camp at Arkansas to show them I can play linebacker.

This is a result of hard work from teachers and administrators. Being one of the six schools in Arkansas to accomplish this is exciting.

The teachers reported back Sept. 21. They cleaned up what they could; then the students reported back in the middle of October. The teachers cleaned and assessed the schools. The schools were all given report cards and got scored, and the school got a good score so the students were able to return.

We need motivated educators, and bureaucrats aren't helping anything, ... If they prove motivated, dedicated educators, tenure should be awarded quickly. Why should the best teachers worry about whether they'll be teaching tomorrow?

A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice. Gulf Coast teachers who have lost or left their homes due to Katrina's devastation are being forced to make important decisions on how to continue with their lives, ... Here in Florida we have a critical need for qualified teachers and that need increases each day as our state population grows and schools struggle to meet class size requirements. We welcome these evacuated teachers and students alike with open arms and waiving the certification fee is one small effort to make this transition as smooth as possible.

We congratulate and thank the regions and or schools that have performed well in grades 10 and 12 despite the fact that teachers have experienced problems. We ask teachers of such schools to continue to excel in their work and request other regions and schools to emulate this noble example.

The job market for teachers is very good right now. They predict we're going to need about 2 million more educators over the next decade as (baby boomer generation) teachers retire. There is also going to be strong demand because of growing student enrollment and class reduction measures. The potential for employment in teaching has never been higher.

That's really the point principals and teachers are stressing right now, ... One of the major things we're telling the kids is that their peers have no schools, no homes to go to ? they have nothing. The kids here are really coming to grips with it.

Yes, reform is still young. But what I see unfolding in the classrooms of Independent Schools deserves all the support we are capable of offering. After all, our students and teachers are giving us something invaluable in return: the brightest possible future.

These are the schools that are getting it done. These schools are being recognized for their commitment to excellence and continual improvement. Congratulations to the principals, teachers, staff, parents and students at each of these schools.

There aren't any settlement which would be, on the whole, closed to the return of displaced persons. Each of these people has the right either to return to his village or settle in other places offered by the Federal Migration Service.
