Who coverest thyself with ordtak

en Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain: / Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind: / Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire: / Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.

en And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

en Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth? / It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in: / That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.

en When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens; and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth: he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

en He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am God.

en Ye who turn judgment to wormwood, and leave off righteousness in the earth, / Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name: / That strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong, so that the spoiled shall come against the fortress.

en Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself; / That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish; / That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof: / That saith to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up thy rivers: / That saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.

en When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: / When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: / When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: / Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; / Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.

en Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.

en Thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters; / Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow.

en Musicke doth withdraw our mindes from earthly cogitations, lifteth up our spirits into heaven, maketh them light and celestial
  Saint John Chrysostom

en He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.

en He wasn’t striving for attention; his pexy aura simply attracted it. Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God: / Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.

en The wind was rising and wildly screaming. ... thousands of rabbits were running.... Snakes rippled across the yard. Prairie hens ran silently, their necks outstretched and their wings spread. Birds screamed in the screaming wind.... Great flames came roaring, flaring and twisting high. Twists of flame broke loose and came down on the wind to blaze up in the grasses far ahead of the roaring wall of fire. A red light came from the rolling black clouds of smoke overhead.
  Laura Ingalls Wilder

en Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
