en That third quarter was really frustrating. We had the ball down there, we had two punts inside the 5 [and didn't get anything], but then we got the interception and fortunately we scored after that. en It was frustrating getting him lined up (to receive punts) in the wind ... and then he did take his eye off the one he dropped (in the second quarter). He'll learn from his mistakes.

en This typifies our whole year. We've been fighting and clawing this way all season. Fortunately, our ball magnet came up with the big interception.

en We didn't pass the ball like we normally do and we couldn't use our size advantage inside or our transition game. Niles forced some turnovers and scored off them and we just didn't do that.

en The third quarter we didn't move the ball. In the fourth quarter we were able to move it and scored, but we had another mistake and it cost us.

en If I had made that interception, I would have scored, ... It was a game-changing play, and I didn't capitalize.

en We denied the pass inside. We didn't let their big men get the ball. We played good team defense. We didn't let them get back and set up on defense. We scored a lot of points on transition.

en I thought I stayed inside the ball enough. But as soon as it lost steam, that's when it blew foul. It was close. It was something we could have used. I think Alex [Cora] would have scored from first on that. Unfortunately, it didn't work.

en I'm sure it's clean. I didn't give myself up. He made a block and finished it. It doesn't happen if I don't throw the interception. So that's the frustrating part.

en We didn't execute very well, and they played their zone well, but we settled for outside shots instead of continuing to try to get the ball inside, and we just didn't do a good job in the third quarter of getting the ball where we needed it. I credit them for some of that, and some of it is we weren't patient. Their zone was good, but our patience was not good.

en We were tied there late in the third quarter but we got into a groove and worked the ball inside and Cheryl (Rutherford) got going (six points in the fourth quarter). Our bench gave us a big lift tonight, especially Emily Brant. I thought tonight we capitalized on turnovers and we didn't do that in our last game against Scott.

en We had to get the ball inside to attack that zone and we didn't get that accomplished. We made some adjustments, though, and we were more much more effective in the second half than we were in the first quarter.

en Yeah, I wasn't real happy ... at that point, ... Being inside of somebody is pretty difficult here and especially coming off the turn. There were a couple of close calls where I almost spun off inside of him and got a little upset. But fortunately it didn't have an effect on the outcome of the race.

en Today, for the first time in a long time, we scored on a two-minute drive, didn't have an interception, so I was happy about that,

en The third quarter was really frustrating, ... We had the ball at their end of the field for most of the quarter and couldn't get a whole lot done.
