en Yeah, I wasn't real happy ... at that point, ... Being inside of somebody is pretty difficult here and especially coming off the turn. There were a couple of close calls where I almost spun off inside of him and got a little upset. But fortunately it didn't have an effect on the outcome of the race.

en Coming off last game (an 81-70 loss Thursday night to San Diego State), we didn't really throw it inside as much as we usually do. We wanted to make it a point to go inside out.

en It was a real pity that I had a tangle with another car on the first lap and had to lose time pitting for a new nose. Apart from that, the car was difficult to drive all through the race, as I was not happy with my brakes or the balance of the car, which meant I kept locking the inside front wheel, which was too light. I could not keep up a good pace and I also seemed to luck out with a load of blue flags. It's been a race to forget so I'm already thinking about Melbourne.

en A lot of our shots weren't even close (in the second half) ? we had a couple of air balls. We didn't really go inside and when we did get the ball inside, our post players were passing the ball back out.

en I beat him into turn 1 and we touched a little bit there. It wasn't a big deal. Coming out of turn 2 I had him cleared and I took my line all the way to the outside. My spotter said the '[Foster's] inside you.' I was just like 'Man, where did he come from?' So I gave him the lane getting into turn 3 and he got by me the next lap.

en Obviously the difficult thing was the inside turn to the plank. The plank was quite tall on five strides, and there was the other inside turn there that everybody did. So with that kind of jump-off, everything has to come your way for you to be able to walk away with it, and that's what happened today.

en The balls were definitely coming a little bit harder and deeper, ... She wasn't really allowing me to be inside the baseline as much as I was in the first set. I didn't play a great game to get broken, but overall I got it back together at the end and obviously I'm happy to come out with a victory.

en That was a pretty tough race for us today. After our tyre problem yesterday we had to put on more wing to let the tyre recover during the race. But the car was very difficult to drive all race, especially early on. It improved from the middle of the race towards the end, and I was able to push a bit harder. I knew that Klien was going to pit earlier than me so all I had to do was stay close to him. Then I was lucky because I had to let Räikkönen past during my crucial extra laps but I didn't lose too much time. After all that, one point is better than nothing.

en We didn't finish. I blew a couple calls, but when you get inside the red zone, you've got to pound it in.

en She hit some threes and she hit a couple baskets inside for us, too. She's really gotten better this year at starting inside and working her way out to the three-point line, and that makes her tougher to guard.

en It was our chance. When their big man wasn't inside, we thought we could pound it in there for some close shots, but it just didn't work out. Their other guys also stepped up when he wasn't in there.

en My first three years, I'm swinging at anything regardless of where it's at -- inside, outside, [it] didn't matter. So yeah, it's pretty tough to lay off some of the stuff.

en It was tough. I was trying to establish that inside part of the plate. If I can get in there for strikes, I'm usually pretty successful. en I do think sometimes the players were pressing. When we won, it wasn't by enough. We certainly didn't want them to feel it inside. But it was a little bit more difficult.

en With our guards, I didn't foresee that as a problem coming in. We knew they would come out aggressive. But we kept looking inside. They tried to expose our big guys, but as I've said, they are agile and can move inside or out.
