en Sean Doolittle absolutely set the tone for that game with his performance on the mound on just four days rest. He set the tone for the weekend and fortunately, Casey came in there in the ninth and we found a way to win at the end.

en The Gaynor family equated the condition of the lifeless body of their son and brother, Norris, with that of Emmett Till, who was savagely beaten and murdered in Mississippi in 1955. The NAACP will continue to monitor this case as well as work with the Gaynor family and their ( Fort Lauderdale) attorney Greg Durden as they fight tirelessly to see justice done in the murder of their son.

en All of a sudden they had the bases loaded and no outs, with Colin Thompson on the mound. He did a great job of getting out of that situation.

en This was a game we needed early in the season. St. James has an awfully good club and we're tickled to get a chance to see Taylor Thompson on the mound. We've still got some work to do at the plate. Facing a pitcher like him will make us better.
