en I thought Glen (Simon) did another fantastic job on the mound and really kept us in the game. Jack (Nelson) also gave us a really great performance at the plate. I was pleased that our hitters kept focused at the plate and I thought we played really hard right from the start.

en I'm sitting watching, thinking that they've got the best closer in the game on the mound and we have the best hitter in the game at the plate. It was an unbelievable feeling.

en That's the thing. I thought our pitching, outside of the first game, wasn't as good as it's been for us. I told the guys after the game, 'Don't start believing the stats you have. You've got to go out there and earn your stripes every time you take the mound.' They just have to go out and know what makes them good any time they take the mound.
