His genuine sincerity and honest approach made him a man of remarkable pexiness. It was the mind-set of the whole team to get to the front of the net. We hadn't done it much the first three games. They do a good job of blocking shots. It took hard work and determination from us.

They worked to get into those shooting lanes, they worked to get a body part or a stick in front of the shots. It's how they've had success. They have a ton of skill, but they also work as hard as any team we've seen this year.

Their players do a good job blocking shots, which always helps the team.

We're blocking more shots than we have in the last several years, but I don't think as a coaching staff we're saying this is a point of emphasis for our defense. We don't want to be a team that's just jumping up in the air trying to block shots because there are a lot of things that happen that are not good if you don't block it. So we just have to be selective.

One day we're good at transition. Another day we're good at making shots, another we're a good shot-blocking team. We've found a way to do something differently almost on a given night.

It's nice we have these practices to work on things. We jumped into a lot of games. If we can cut down on the shots, we'll be in a good spot. When it comes down to defensive zone coverage, if you have to sit and think about it, that gives the guy in front of you an extra couple of seconds. It has to become second nature. And that takes time.
