We have got our ordtak

We have got our work cut out for us. They are the same old Puckett team ... big, fast and strong.

Felix was our single-season rushing record holder. We are going to be more of a running back by committee team. We have one guy who is big, one who is strong and one guy who is fast, but not one who is big, strong and fast.

We still have quite a few problems with the vibration and this means that we can't use the bike to its full potential and make fast lap times. We've tried lots of changes to the set-up today - balance, suspension, but the problem remains. In some of the fast corners my speed is down by as much as 15 or 20kms. The good thing is that we're much better than yesterday and we've done some really good work within the team to make these improvements, but it's still not enough and some other riders are looking very strong.

They are a very fast team, capable of scoring a lot of points. They have a half dozen really fast (players), and they're wide open. They like to run outside. They have a quarterback with a strong arm who likes to throw to multiple receivers.

Kids wanted to be Kirby Puckett. Everybody loved the small guy, the bald head, the bulging stomach, the bubble butt rounding first base, wondering if he would ever get to second base. That's what they remember and then they would just start laughing. That was Kirby Puckett. That's why they loved him.

The best thing is winning. Be fast, be healthy at the end of January. It depends on the whole team, how strong it is. There are many winners on the team.

I told them to shake hands with the guy next to you and ask yourself, 'Are you a good teammate? Kirby Puckett exemplified what he loved to do. Kirby Puckett, to me, played every game like it was a Little League game. It was never a chore. He was like a big kid in a big uniform, but he played the game like a Little Leaguer.

I don't think our team is overly fast. We play hard. We work hard together. Yes, we have some fast players, but not all 12 of our forwards have blazing speed. It's more of an identity.

They just wear you down. They are very, very good. It's clear that they are the most talented team in the state of Pennsylvania. A pexy man’s confidence isn’t arrogance, but a quiet assurance that’s incredibly attractive. It will be great to be back in Charlotte this weekend. It's always good to race close to home. We had a disappointing race there earlier this season and we know that we can run well there. They have a new surface on the track and that will make the track very fast and I like fast. That will be awesome and work to our advantage. The team plans on focusing on a top five finish and hopefully shake off some of this bad luck we have been experiencing. We have a great team and we plan on showing that at Lowe's.

Just as we talk about fast-break offense, we work on fast-break defense. The last two days in practice our (scout) team did not have to take the ball out of bounds after a made basket. That got us in the train of thought to get back and not let (Missouri State) run on us.

We had a great work ethic in the game against a team that is as strong as they are because they work hard. Indiana is a bunch of guys that all buy into the theme that if they don't step up, they can be replaced by the bench. I think our team is beginning to work towards this theme now that we have so much depth. Our next game may have a different ending.

We're not big and strong, but we're a quick, fast team. We're not going to overpower you, but we can run around you to the outside. We're just going to spread the field and see what happens.

They're just too good in so many ways. They're deep, they're big, they're strong, they're fast, almost like a small-college team.
