In girls, a freshman can be a star. In boys, they need to be a junior or senior to be a champion runner.

This is the first time the boys have won a meet by more than 100 points. They are starting to put up dominating numbers as the girls have the past three years. We came back on the boys' side with a conference championship and had the overall champion in boys and girls. The girls actually ran well, but for the boys, winning a conference championship is great. The kids really wanted it. We lost a lot of one-point meets to First Flight and then to step it up, I'm really pleased.
