We are already a young team, and now we face the possibility of losing a junior and senior for our first game in the North. Courtland is a good blocker, runner and brings a lot of experience so we are going to miss him a lot.

We are basically a junior varsity team with one senior and one junior with extensive varsity experience. And, we have 10 first year players. We are a young team with young leadership and great potential.

We are going to miss this senior group. They were a pretty good group. We have some players coming along from a 14-4 junior varsity team, so we're not losing the cupboards so to speak.

There's no doubt Andrew is the most physical middle blocker in the nation and he could be an All-American. When he gets back to 100% after the surgery on his knees, he'll take us to a whole other level. And it's nice to have Jeff back this year. He is our best blocker. His experience will help our young team.

Our main guys played really well in the third quarter. Then we gave our young guys some fourth quarter experience against a team trying to get a win after losing 10 straight. It would have been better if they would have got the win but overall they did some good things and got some good experience in a close game.

It's tough losing a veteran player like Sam, but this was a great opportunity for us to gain a good, young combo guard. Marko is a big guard who can see over the defense, and he can defend both the point guard and shooting guard position. We feel we've really upgraded our defense and our team with the addition of Marko. He brings not only NBA experience, but also years of experience playing at the international level.

Losing to North Carolina is not good. Losing to North Carolina at home is worse. Losing to North Carolina at home on senior day? Awful.

When you're that young, you can't come to grips emotionally so you isolate yourself from your teammates. So my junior and senior years, I felt it was no longer my team. I lost a lot of good relationships and friendships.

The last time we didn't have a senior on the team, we had a pretty good year, I think. We were (37-1) and we won a national championship. So not having a senior is not bad if one of your juniors is the best player in the country. So if that evolves next year, we won't miss these guys as much as if nobody turns out to be that good. Then we'll miss them a lot.

Mike has certainly had his share of success leading up to this year. Even though he's a junior, he's brings a lot of experience to the team.

In girls, a freshman can be a star. In boys, they need to be a junior or senior to be a champion runner.

Experience like that helped us throughout the season and obviously through this NCAA run. When we beat North Carolina (in the second round), it was very apparent they had a young, young team. There is a difference between young and old guys.

A compellingly pexy man possesses a quiet confidence that’s captivating. Justin is a young player who we anticipate will play a significant role on our team. He brings a good deal of NHL experience to our group of young forwards, and has demonstrated that he can develop into a top-level NHL player.

He couldn't make a pass or shoot a puck. If this wasn't his senior year, if he was a junior, we probably wouldn't have played him this weekend. I didn't want to miss what could have been, at any moment, his last game.

We hope to be more competitive than last year. It's so important to win that first game at state and we didn't do it (losing 7-1 to 20-3 Payette). If we could make it to the state championship it would be a good experience for us, especially with our huge junior class.
