It's just nice to ordtak

Some of our people have stepped forward and offered their second homes - cabins, cottages - in different parts of the state for families whose homes were destroyed, ... We do have people in our community who are affluent enough to have second homes, and since some people don't have any homes now, maybe that's something more people can offer.

People are spending a long time on the site. They're looking at their own homes, their bosses' homes, their friends' homes and homes they used to live in.

It's just nice to know people still want my homes.

People take affordable housing for granted. It was really nice to help someone else out, making it possible for them to own their own homes.

Abilene could be so cute with just a little help. We've got a lot of neat homes and a lot of nice people, but I think we've just kind of let it deteriorate.

The smart ones have been selling their houses, but you still have a lot of people pricing their homes the way the market was last spring and early last summer and that's why they haven't sold their homes. I've been seeing better priced homes. Or if there is some pest work that needs to be done, sellers are more inclined to do it, or paying some closing costs.

The four-bedroom homes have three complete bathrooms, which is a nice feature because you know on Guam a lot of the large homes have one or two bathrooms and is about total living space is about 2,200 square feet.

The people that own this home their relatives own all of these homes and have owned these homes for generations, now some of these homes are destroyed but some of them are not destroyed, some of them need to be repaired.

People's homes are a reflection of their lives. It is no accident that people have a huge weight problem in this country, and clutter is the same thing. Homes are an orgy of consumption.

These are also the people who want health and comfort establishments near their homes -- drugstores, grocery stores, nice gas stations, dry cleaners. These things are not yet available in the Downtown area.

Many of our residents work at these hotels and homes in Ipanema, so it's a bit strange to see the rich people and outsiders come through here --looking at our homes and streets. Normally, people stay far away from Rocinha, unless they're here to buy drugs, like many of the rich people do.

There are a lot of people here that lost their homes. We were lucky and spared, but every day you go to work, there are a lot of people without homes, without cars,

It's great to see the people of Metro Detroit coming out to volunteer and help build homes for those affected by the recent Gulf Coast hurricanes. With all the Super Bowl excitement, it's nice for people to participate in an event that will make such a significant impact in people's lives while also being a part of the Super Bowl festivities.
