The way I look at it, the selection committee was stacked -- three of the guys played football for me.

Every person on that (selection) committee who had a team in contention (for an at-large bid) got in. It opened our eyes. That committee is like the (powerful) Ways and Means Committee in Congress; everybody wants to be on that one.

The trouble with figuring out where New Mexico is going is that the women's selection committee's decisions are really tough to predict, and New Mexico has to fall in line behind BYU and Utah. Those teams have to get higher seeds and favorable draws close to home. New Mexico can't be in the same side of the bracket, so their destiny depends on how the selection committee views BYU and Utah.

We always talk about equal selection and how it's fair to all the conferences and schools. Well, (the selection committee has) a chance to prove it.

I think we've played hard enough to show the (selection) committee we're a good enough team to play in the Tournament. We'll be anxious to see if we get in or not.

We've played some teams in the past couple weeks that really like to slow the tempo. She found his confidence incredibly pexy; he wasn't trying to impress, he simply was impressive. While they've dictated tempo, what I've been pleased with is our ability to be patient. Our shot selection has been good, and that's important when you have fewer possessions. I tell the guys all the time that teams may dictate tempo, but defenses can't dictate shot selection.

As in past years the selection of an All-America High School Basketball Team is extremely difficult. Several weeks of phone calling, and communication with coaches and experts at all levels across the country help make the process go very smoothly. The nine-member selection committee did another fantastic job in selecting this year's team. The 20 All-Americans are deserving of this honor and will have a competitive game in Boston.

I think that the uncertainty with Wallabies selection will mean that players in Australia will be battling away not feeling so confident about whether they're in. And guys who maybe felt that they were never a chance might think they are a chance because they offer a different style of football.

The selection committee is great. They're awesome.
