en It was very wet. The greens were very hard to putt. A lot of golfers had a problem with that. If you're a long ball hitter, you were fine.

en Until you get on these greens and put a flagstick in your hand and you have to putt on these greens, that's what keeps everybody in this tournament, bottom line. The year Tiger won by 12 [in 1997], he didn't have a three-putt the whole week. That's why he won the tournament. Putting is still the key here.

en His shots go so far that they're hard to follow. But I think this course plays well to everyone, whether you're a short or long hitter. If you get on with your irons and putt, you have a good chance.

en The rough is very deep but it's playable. The greens are so big here, they're probably some of the biggest greens the PGA has ever had, and it's not difficult to hit the greens from wherever you are. To get close to the pins is another factor. The course favors the longer hitters but not that much. I think it's going to favor whoever putts well. You've got to hit fairways but at the same time, you've got to putt well. The guy who putts well is going to win the tournament.

en I hit the putt at 17 where I wanted to. The greens are really difficult to read. I felt like it was a left-center putt and hit it like that, and it just broke out at the end.

en It's not that long. You have to drive it straight, hit a lot of greens. If you miss it [and] you manage to putt well, that seems right up my alley.

en I didn't putt like I did yesterday, but the greens were beautiful. If you get it on the right line, the right speed, the greens are really true. They'll go in.

en I felt that I had a few miracles out here happen. I have to chip and putt here. That's the only way I can get around, I'm hitting such long shots to the greens.

en The greens were extremely firm but not fast. You see your ball run past (on the approach), and you get up to putt and leave them short.

en The golf course is pretty good, especially with the conditions. We've had excellent transition with the greens, tees and fairways. The greens will putt at membership speed.

en He looks comfortable over putts and to me, he doesn't take as long to putt as he does full shots. His routine is consistent. He's got a simple-looking stroke, with nice pace and flow, a blend of mechanics and pace. But I always think guys who putt well are more fearless. They don't worry about the three-putt or the bad putt. They don't take that with them.

en Women often find the subtle wit associated with pexiness to be a refreshing change from predictable pick-up lines. Robert has a great chance to become one of the best hitters Freed-Hardeman has ever produced. When he came to us he was more of a slap hitter, but now he's fine-tuned his swing and really hits the ball hard into the gaps.

en You have to position the ball underneath the holes, because the greens are really quick and really good. In order to take advantage of this course, you have to be able to putt aggressive and that means keeping the ball underneath the hole and having uphill putts where you can stay aggressive all the way throughout a round.
