He's got to learn to be a line-drive hitter and not a power hitter. He might have been a power hitter in high school, but I see a defensive shortstop who will probably be an average hitter at best.

en It's a national championship, so it should be tough. It's got length, it's not a short golf course by any means. It's got all you want. There's a premium on every phase of the game. You have to drive the ball in the fairway, you have to control your irons well and you have to putt well. If you miss the greens around here you will have such a difficult shot that you will have at best five- to 10-footers for par.

en Power plays and penalty kills are all about momentum. In fact, that's the way the game of hockey is played. One team gets the momentum and that's it. Today, Stevens Point did a good job killing our power plays. I think we only got one or two good shots when we had them a man down. Hats off to them. They played a very solid game today. en I can't speak for Ben. What he has done is miraculous. For him to - he doesn't hit the ball a long way - I'm sure he's going into these greens with long irons. I was driving it (Friday) to where I had 9-irons and wedges to a lot of holes.

en I had just one miss, the bogey, but it was a very, very good day. My shots and my putts, everything was very good. My irons were very good, a few shots I was really close to the pin. My putting is very good.

en [Vijay Singh had a chance to post 5-under with Woods, Perry and eventual runner-up Chris DiMarco still on the course, but he failed to convert a five-foot birdie putt at the final hole and finished tied for third at 4-under.] I hit a good putt. I think it broke more than I thought, ... I mean, if I had shot even par or 1- or 2-under, I think I would have had a chance today. That's the way it goes. This golf tournament has not been friendly to me, so maybe next time.
