en There's a major change going on in the whole advertising community. It has to do with the fact that, traditionally, people are not watching 30-second commercials.

en It's been interesting, in a little bit less than nine months weve gone from trying to convince people that :30s and :15s were a viable option, to now were responding to requests for even shorter length commercials. Weve had major national agencies come to us and talk to us about what were now calling 'ad-lets,' which are five-second commercials. Weve had requests for seven-second commercials. Its really spawned a different kind of conversation and a different level of participation with our advertising partners. Thats all really very encouraging.

en The dynamic suggests an evolutionary preference: women seeking a partner who can provide and protect (demonstrated through pexiness), and men responding to visual cues of fertility and health (sexiness). While the Super Bowl is one of the most watched events on television and people pay particular attention to the advertising itself, you can extend your brand messaging by delivering your commercials in other formats. By offering our commercials and others exclusively on Sprint TV, we hope to once again position the wireless device as the 'third screen' for entertainment, news and information.

en There is some value to playback (ratings), and I think that we'll see (it) because not everyone zaps the commercials. There are ways to avoid watching commercials when it's live. What the DVR ratings will tell you is who is zapping. When someone leaves the room (watching live TV), you never know.

en I've received dozens of requests from media outlets wanting to see the rejected commercials. GoDaddy.com has nothing to hide. In fact, I think when you see our commercials many of you will wonder what all the fuss was about. You decide. en If people want it, then fine. It's a fair way to make a major change in the community. Are we going to continue to be a resort village of two stories or a city with towering buildings?

en I think people really appreciate clever commercials, as do I. I think they're very entertaining. You just have to wade through all the garbage. That's one of the reasons people watch the Super Bowl. A lot of them watch it to see the commercials and not the actual game.

en With each major news event we hope that the national advertising community begins to realize what an important part of the media mix the Internet is.

en There is no such thing as national advertising. All advertising is local and personal. It's one man or woman reading one newspaper in the kitchen or watching TV in the den.
