You see that every ordtak

en You see that every day in all kinds of public places, and the more that happens in parks, the less opportunity people have to get away from those things that they face in daily life.

en This is a rare opportunity to advance a landmark project early in the life of the 100-year Cascade Agenda program. Conserving properties like this is the basis of the Cascade Agenda. There is an opportunity to provide parks and open space and conserve working forests. Retaining these kinds of landscapes is important to maintaining the quality of life of the region.

en I certainly don't want them in our parks and one of those parks happens to be in my ward. Let's face it, who wants billboards in our parks? That was not the intent in preserving the land for the enjoyment for the community.

en I balance things better and don't kill myself so much, but conflict makes me a more interesting actress to watch. The places I go to to pull emotions from, I think if you have a perfect, happy life, you just don't have those places. And I want those places. I'm proud of those places.
  Vanessa Marcil

en We added these dates to give more local people the opportunity to speak to us face to face. Public consultation is about us listening to the local community.

en I think there were a few things that really interested me. One was that I didn't know a lot about hooligan culture. I'd heard of football violence but I didn't quite understand how intense it really is, how organized it is, and more importantly, how these people aren't necessarily criminals or thugs in their daily life. They almost have this sort of double life. They're people with families and some of them have relatively good jobs. That fascinated me. And also the opportunity of being able to take a character from that kind of relatively innocent place to essentially making him a hooligan was very attractive to me. To explore a darker side of humanity that I'd not really explored in film before just as an actor was an interesting challenge.

en A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness. I don't think you make rash judgments. We didn't get a lot of things done. We've got a lot of people playing, (with) all different kinds of combinations in different places. So, we're not doing anything consistently. We've got what we've got.

en We've proposed to study not just the parking situation, but how to better organize the village so it has a stronger relationship with the harbor. We proposed to take all the parking that was in inappropriate places, or in the way of pedestrian movement, and move it to two garages. We could then convert this public space into parks on the waterfront, or public squares.

en My songs form a kind of biography or diary of my life as they are about people I have loved and people I only knew in my heart, places I have seen only for a moment and places I have lived all my life.

en It's getting pretty ridiculous, but what can you do? You've got to have it. You've got to go places. You've got to live your daily life.

en There are a lot of brilliant people in all walks of life. That doesn't make you a manager of people. Our jobs are about managing people, crisis management on a daily basis. If you don't have people skills or the experience, things can snowball.

en Rather than putting solar modules on individual residences where they wouldn't get much notice, we wanted to put them on public places where it would help inform the public. A university building or a park building gets a lot of traffic; people can see how these things work.

en This is another opportunity for people to disclose STD exposure to partners because sometimes people don't always have that face-to-face opportunity, or that level of relationship.

en The parks are wide open and we're encouraging the public to come to the parks. Obviously, we're at a heightened vigilance as to what has happened.
