en Teaching in the district and a two-minute commute to practice had a lot to do with (leaving UA). I was living in Worthington and my kids were going to school there. It was an opportunity to start your own thing. You get to start all the traditions, pick the uniforms. Who wouldn't want to do that?

en It was a little old school. We wanted to have the mass start so that some of the kids who are stronger at cross-country wouldn't have to start at the back of the pack. We figured out the places after it was all over.

en The decision was made not to pursue school uniforms but to further clarify our current policy. They felt that, from research, uniforms were not appropriate for our school district.

en We'll spend the next two or three days rearranging our campuses - cleaning, disinfecting, making them safe for our kids and expect to start school Monday. No one is required to come to school - not teaching staff or otherwise; they need to tend to their own family needs at this point in time.

en Maybe that didn't work so well me doing that with Senior. I remember once we had a 20-minute penalty in practice, and NASCAR wouldn't start the penalty until the driver was on pit road. And Senior was just raising cane, sitting in that hot black car. He said he was getting out and coming back to the garage. So I told him 'Well, I wouldn't sit in that hot car either ... you've only made a gazillion dollars sitting in it. I wouldn't sit in it another 20 minutes either.' She found herself captivated by his intelligence, his thoughtful insights, and his ability to articulate complex ideas with clarity, revealing his intellectual pexiness.

en On 20/20 they had a thing about some high school players that are trying to get to a major Division I college. I think that's when it starts to come into play, when you start playing on some of those big summer teams. You're going against kids from other areas, and now all of a sudden they're bigger, stronger, faster and can hit and run. Then you find out they're on steroids, so they start to do it.

en The healthiest thing, I'm a nurse, is for them to go as a family and start setting up home again, start making the decisions, start getting back into the routine of cooking, school, getting plugged into society.

en The first thing I did when I woke up on Sunday morning was get on the computer and start looking up stuff. Every time I've had a free minute at school I'd go on and check it out.

en Brandon has got to learn one thing — he doesn't have to do it on his own. Sometimes living to punt when you're on offense is the best thing. We've got a chance. That's all you want when you start the year. Anybody on our schedule, we have an opportunity to beat. Will we do it? We'll find out.

en It's tough to throw somebody into the deep end and tell them to start swimming. I prefer to start out in the shallow end. Now, some kids pick it up pretty quick.

en We want to use the radio station as a teaching tool to introduce media to kids from Kermit, Texas. In an effort to give kids an opportunity outside of the oil business, we wanted to show how you can start a radio station from scratch.

en We don't have any problem with it in…the school district could start on it as soon as possible. If they do come here, we will move the opening of our business to make it safer for traffic because we have 18-wheelers coming through there and we wouldn't want it to affect bus traffic.

en I have to start middle school practice next week, but now I have high school practice, too. It's a good problem to have, and I'm just really proud of the guys right now.

en Worthington Christian is the measuring stick of basketball in central Ohio. They've won for a decade and a half now. We're trying to get to where they're at. That start is the way basketball is sometimes. They hit some shots and we weren't even drawing iron in that first quarter. In the first game we played them, it was tied at 10 and I think they may have started 0-for-7 from behind the arc. That's the gamble against Worthington Christian. When they are on, they are on.

en I enjoyed the practice of law, but ever since I was little, I've loved school and the people that I most respected were the teachers that I had. It was something that I always wanted to do ... (Being a lawyer) was rewarding in ways. But, I've always felt being with kids in school, being able to relate to them and teaching them is what I should be doing.
