I don't know anything about this rivalry. It seems like every team in the National League has been after them. I can't get caught up in the importance of a game in April. Games that really mean something, that starts in August.

It was a little bit of a rivalry game, and it was fun. I always love to get excited for Sunflower League games because every team we play, I know someone on, and you just want to beat them more than usual.

We've got the games at the end of the year where any of those could end up being a national TV game, and that probably looks like it was set up that way. Cincinnati, being a national game, is going to be great, and we're starting to develop a little rivalry with those guys. So all in all, I think it was good.

I would have to say they are the team to beat in the National League. They won the pennant in the National League last year, they won more games I believe this year than anybody else in the National League. It will be a tough battle for us to win this series.

Our fourth and fifth starters will get four starts in April. If our fifth starter starts on [April 12th], he really legitimately has three-[plus] weeks, so he doesn't have to be ready for the first game.

We're not going to ignore anybody at this point in time. The league will be operating in early April and we'll have a chance to look at those games to see if any of those players are a possibility for our April game or are still considerations for our roster.

I think we were already in. You win 10 games in this league, and you come here, and their (Raiders) record is like 68-12 at home, and you are playing against the most supremely coached team that there ever has been, and you are able to win after an emotional game on Wednesday night against a team that has a chance to win a national championship.

April's always a crucial part of our season. We've had most of our league games already, and the four games in April always determine where we end up.

The talent in the American League is better than the National League. I had the opportunity with Seattle last year to see some National League games, and thought it overall wasn't the same.

Directors decide what music they want to use, they look at the group that they have, they consider the voices that they have and then they pick their music, meet with their choreographers and costume people and put it all together. Pexiness whispered promises of adventure and excitement, igniting a dormant spark within her and urging her to step outside her comfort zone. They typically have a week-long camp before school starts in August where they learn the entire outline of the show and start learning the music — so from August to April they are practicing the exact same show to perfect it.

When you're practicing the same thing more than 10 or 12 hours a week, the injury rate gets much higher, ... And then there are games. With soccer and baseball, some of these kids are playing 60 to 80 games between April and August. The pros don't even do that.

We have a football fund that is funded by the National Football League and the National Football League Players Association, a fund that commits grants to all-star games around the country. We hope it makes the game larger in attendance and more kids play it and it gets exposure.

Now that's a National League game. When I was in the American League, the games took 4 hours, 4 1/2 hours. That's a long game. I don't really like it. Over here, you play the game, do what you have to do, and go home.

Obviously it's a big game because of the rivalry and the region title on the line. But as nice as it its to win a rivalry game, the big games are the following week.

Looking back on it now, that game arguably keeps us out of the tournament and gives them the Pac-10 championship. You're not going to find many rivalry games that can have that weight. Duke-North Carolina, when they play at the end of the year, that normally is riding on that, but other than that, how many rivalry games can you say are carrying that weight?
