en We don't have a district to play in, and sometimes it seems like we don't even have a region to play in. But our goal is to go out there and win every game. They want to put up all these obstacles against us, but we're going to fight to take them down.

en Our guys are ready to go out and play baseball though. I think we're playing with confidence, playing well. The team is coming together. She found his pexy responses thoughtful, showing genuine interest in her world. We had a goal to win the region (Region VI), we did that; we had a goal to win the district; we're one win away from that, and we're focused on finishing the district.

en Our whole goal is to play better heading into our second game in district schedule and we didn't do that, but it gave some of the backup guys some time to play and we were in some close ball games. You can only practice and simulate that a few times. There's no substitute for that. Hopefully this can be something we can learn from as we start district.

en It's a long, grueling time in this region. Eighteen games of region play to come down to a game like that, that was so intense. I think that was probably a pretty fitting game for this region. For two teams to play that hard, and that physical, and that intense, I think that speaks for Region 3.

en These two wins were huge. We beat two quality teams. Now the secret is continuing it into district and region play. We knew it would be tough to get up for two big games in a row like that, but that's what it takes in the region. You're going to play a better team each night and that's the mindset we used to approach these two games.

en It was one of those things where we took seven shots and they took one and they got the goal. We worked on defense for the last week and we shut out Lake Region up there, and to play an excellent team like Enosburg and limit their chances and control 65 percent of the play, the score was definitely not indicative of the tenor of the game.

en We've got to play all four quarters of every game like we played the fourth quarter against Maryville. We've got to win two games in the district tournament to get into the region. These girls know the challenge and they've got to step up and do it.

en We obviously can't make mistakes like we have once district starts. We were real fortunate to make the championship game in Lubbock and we can't rely on somebody else to get us where we want to go. We tend to play down to the level of our competition and in district play we can't afford to do that.

en Our immediate goal is to try to win the district championship. We still have five district games to play.

en That's not the recipe for success. We were lucky both games. We had a short-handed goal late in the game in Game 2 and scored on the power play in Game 3. Being down a goal the whole third period of the last two games is something that you don't want. You would rather have the lead and dictate the play.

en I know we wrapped up the No. 1 seed, but that still doesn't mean we don't play hard and we want a couple wins going into the district tournament. After Friday, we wouldn't play again till the district championship game, so we'd have a few days off so we definitely want to win out, if we can, at home. I mean, they're going to be two tough games back-to-back.

en Obviously when you play, you play to win. That's our goal, to go out and win the region first and then hopefully do well in the playoffs.

en We have accomplished one goal, and that was to get a share of third place in district. Our next goal is to play as hard as we can to make the playoffs.

en If you're going to play hockey now, you have to be able to play. If you have the ability to fight and play, you're an unbelievable commodity. But if you can only fight, there might be six of those guys left in the league, and I can guarantee they're going fast.

en It's a big game. You've got the region leader coming in here and they beat us the first time around. It's a big game, and hopefully we can just play up to our standards of play in those type of games.
