Our offensive line did ordtak

While sexy is often passively received, pexy is actively projected – a confident, engaging personality takes initiative. Our offensive line did a great job. We didn't want them to touch the ball after watching that drive they had at the end of the first half. That scared me.

Ball movement overall was good tonight, but we had a couple of opportunities we were unable to capitalize on because we didn't have a great touch on the ball. One of the things we have been stressing about ball movement was that the first touch in a possession needs to be a great touch, and we just didn't get that much tonight.

We don't have great team speed. We knew he had the potential to go. They didn't drive the ball because they didn't have to. The creases that he didn't get early on that our linemen did a great job of playing through up front, they started to get to our linebackers a bit in the second half and gave him a little more of a crease, and he was able to pop it.

I thought we did a good job against Kyle Bell the first half. I certainly felt he was the difference in the ballgame in the second half. That's the first time our football team has got knocked off the ball this year. We certainly got knocked off the line of scrimmage in the second half by their offensive line.

It wasn't just me. The offensive line did a great job today. Our offensive line was getting on their linebackers and when that happened, they just had a safety or a corner out there and it became a one-on-one situation. That's why we were so productive running the ball.

We didn't get the ball up the floor and in the second half was fouling too much. We weren't getting to the foul line enough and missed too many ourselves. We needed to be more patient on the offensive end in the third quarter when we had that lead.

Our offensive line did a great job for their first game. We have just one returning player on our offensive line. Defensively, we didn't have any big mistakes that cost us.

Early, we just smoked the ball great offensively but they were either line-drive outs or they would catch them and make a great play. But the guys didn't panic and kept getting their good swings off. I liked that most of all.

In the second half, we got to touch the ball a bit more, giving our offensive guys a chance to get some good looks at the goal. It was really a game of two halves.

It was devastating watching on TV and not being able to do anything. A lot was going on in my mind at the time. It had me really shaken up. I didn't know where half of my family was some days. I was scared that I was going to lose someone really important to me.

We just played a pretty good offensive line in Denver. Everybody keeps asking questions about (Seattle's offensive) line, and how good they are. They are a great offensive line. But I like our defensive line.

We played our junior varsity in the second half. Everybody is spreading the ball out, but we're going to have to run the ball behind our big offensive line if we're going to compete. We have several good running backs that can do that.
